• Institution context: Institution affiliation, class membership, and permissions.

2.2 Educational and Usage Data

• Assessments: Test attempts, answers, scores, rankings, and performance analytics.
• Learning content: Topics, assignments, and materials you create or use in the platform.
• Recordings and uploads: Audio or video you upload or record within Auremu, and related metadata (duration, timestamps, file type).
• Generated outputs: Transcripts, notes, summaries, flashcards, and questions generated from your inputs.
• Product usage: Feature usage, timestamps, and interaction patterns.

2.3 Technical Data

• IP address, browser type, operating system, device type, and basic diagnostic information.
• Log files, error reports, and performance metrics for reliability and security.

2.4 Payments and Subscriptions

If you purchase a subscription or paid plan now or in the future, payments are processed exclusively by Stripe. Auremu does not store full card numbers or sensitive payment credentials. Stripe collects and stores payment details on their secure systems. We retain only information needed to manage access and billing status, such as plan type, billing cycle, subscription status, and Stripe identifiers. 3. How We Use Your Information

• Provide, operate, and improve Auremu services and AI powered features.
• Generate educational content and learning insights based on your inputs and activity.
• Manage accounts, roles, permissions, and institutional access controls.
• Process subscriptions, enforce usage limits, and prevent fraud or abuse.
• Provide customer support, respond to requests, and send service communications.
• Monitor performance, security, and system integrity.

4. AI and Automated Processing

Auremu uses automated systems and artificial intelligence to analyze educational data, adapt question difficulty, and generate learning materials (such as transcripts, summaries, flashcards, and practice questions). These systems operate to support educational functionality.

No public model training: We do not use your personal data or private educational content to train public or third party AI models.

Automated decisions: Automated outputs are used for learning support and are not intended to make legal or similarly significant decisions about you.

5. Data Storage and Infrastructure

Data is stored using secure cloud infrastructure including Firebase and Google Cloud services. We use role based access controls and technical safeguards, including encryption in transit and at rest where supported by our providers.

6. Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell personal data. We may share information in the following situations:

• Service providers: Vendors supporting hosting, analytics, communications, AI processing, and payments (for example Firebase, Google services, and Stripe).
• Schools and educators: If you join a class or institution account, authorized educators and staff may access educational data related to that class (for example submissions, scores, and learning outputs) as required for teaching and administration.
• Legal requirements: When required to comply with law, regulation, court order, or lawful request, or to protect rights, safety, and security.
• Business transfers: If Auremu is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.

We retain account and educational data while your account is active or as needed to provide the service. If you request deletion, we will delete or anonymize data within a reasonable period, unless retention is required for legal, security, or financial compliance. Payment related records are retained as required by applicable tax and accounting rules.

We use essential cookies for authentication, session management, and security. We may also use analytics cookies to understand usage and improve performance. You can disable cookies in your browser, but some features may not work properly.
