1. Introduction

Welcome to Auremu. Auremu is an AI assisted learning platform that helps students and educational institutions transform lesson content into structured learning materials.

By accessing or using our website, applications, or services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

2. Account & Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you're under 18, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian. You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.

3. AI-Assisted Learning Services

Auremu provides AI assisted tools that help convert educational content into structured study materials. These services may include, but are not limited to:

• Audio and video transcription of lessons or recordings
• Automated note generation and summaries
• Flashcard creation
• Multiple choice question generation
• Translation of learning content into supported languages

All outputs generated by Auremu are produced using automated systems and are intended to support learning and revision. They may require review, correction, or supplementation by the user or an educator.

4. Acceptable Use

• Don't use Auremu to break the law, exploit vulnerabilities, or harass others.
• No scraping, reverse engineering, or reselling the platform without explicit permission.
• We reserve the right to suspend accounts violating these terms without notice.

5. Paid Features & Subscription Billing

Certain features of Auremu are available only to subscribers ("Auremu Pro"). You may choose a monthly or yearly subscription plan at the prices displayed at checkout. All subscription payments are processed through Stripe. By subscribing, you expressly authorize Stripe and Auremu to charge your payment method for recurring subscription fees (monthly or yearly, as selected), plus any applicable taxes or fees in your jurisdiction.

5.1 Billing & Payment Terms

• Subscription Plans: You can select a monthly or yearly plan. The pricing and plan details are shown at checkout before you confirm payment.
• Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle (monthly or yearly, depending on your selection) until you cancel. You will be billed at the then-current subscription rate, which may change if we update pricing; we will notify you at least 30 days before any price increase.
• Payment Methods: We accept major credit/debit cards and other payment methods supported by Stripe. To complete your subscription, you must provide a valid payment method. By providing it, you represent that you are authorized to use that payment method.
• Taxes: You are responsible for any taxes due in your jurisdiction. If applicable, Auremu will collect and remit taxes based on your billing address at checkout.

5.2 Cancellation & Refunds

• How to Cancel: You can cancel anytime by visiting your Account Settings and clicking "Cancel Subscription." Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period. You will continue to have access to Auremu Pro features until the subscription expires.
• No Partial Refunds: Unless required by law or our refund policy, we do not offer prorated or partial refunds for subscriptions. For example, if you cancel halfway through a billing cycle, you will retain Pro access until the cycle ends but will not receive a refund for the unused portion.
• Refund Policy: If you believe there's an issue (e.g., double charge or payment error), contact support within 14 days of the charge. Refunds are granted at our discretion. To request a refund, email support@auremu.com with your account details and reason.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, and software on Auremu is owned by us or licensed to us. You may not use our name, logo, or systems without written consent.

7. Termination

You may close your account anytime. We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account for any breach of these terms. Upon termination, any active subscription will be cancelled and you forfeit access to Pro features at the end of the billing period.

8. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

Auremu is provided "as is." We don't guarantee perfect accuracy or uptime. We're not liable for missed deadlines, grades, or damages arising from use of our services. In no event shall Auremu's total liability exceed the amount you have paid in subscription fees during the six months prior to the claim.

9. AI Output Disclaimer

Auremu uses automated and machine assisted systems to generate educational content. While we aim for high quality and relevance, we do not guarantee that generated outputs are complete, accurate, or suitable for any specific academic requirement.

Users remain responsible for verifying content before relying on it for exams, assignments, grading, or instructional decisions.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll try to notify you via email or in-app notice. Continuing to use the platform after a change means you accept the new terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any dispute arising out of these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts where Auremu's principal place of business is located.
